Something about you
by Richard Maxfield

Something about you captured my sole
your smiling face and a heart of gold
maybe it is the way that you talk
or it could be the way that you walk
it might be the sparkle in your eyes
or when I touch you my heart starts to fly
the warmth of your touch the smile on your face
no one on earth could ever take your place
your loving tenderness and care that you show
my love for you will always grow
soft sweet skin pressed next to mine
such a beautiful person , one so fine
your hair gently laying on soft shoulder
sparks my emotions and makes me bolder
deep in your eyes I can plainly see
that God made you just for me
the blossom of love from just a seed
you are all that I want and all that I need
we will walk together through life
you and I, husband and wife
It is everything about you that took my heart
no one on earth can break us apart
something about you captured my sole
your smiling face and a heart of gold
