Alertness

by Wilfred Fisher - Pisces

Allow me to enlighten you on my perception of this world.
Everything we do evolves around money.
We enjoy, live, and die for money.
Materialistic values placed on us by society.
A burden placed on us before our entrance into this world.
Society perpetrates and neglect us from hearing all.
Why do we go to school?
Is it really to be educated or is it really to make money?
Would you be happy as a lawyer getting paid less than a librarian?
Would you be happy as a doctor getting paid less than a pharmacist?
Would you be happy as a cop getting paid less than a street dealer?
Think about it. So is it really about status or again is it the money?
Let’s analyze and ensure we go and accomplish what we have set for self.
Let’s not allow anyone to select our path in life.
By going to school, are we really educating ourselves?
I ask myself, are we really punishing our minds?
Why are so many lawyers losing cases?
Why are so many doctors making wrong decisions?
Why are so many cops going against what they have pledged for?
Ensure to go for what you want.
Money places you on a temporary status.
Once is gone what else is there?
At least, I have an education to lean on.
An accomplishment that no one can erase or take away.
Whatever decision you make in life, be sure you are the sole driver.
As in a car, there is only one steering wheel.
As in a car, insurances only penalizes the driver and not the passenger.
A passenger can suggest many routes for you to take.
A driver takes suggestion but always makes the final decision.
As in driving, always be alert don’t ever fall asleep.
A blink in one eye and to that destination, you will never arrive.
