the guy was found dead blood was pouring out from every which way the cops came to investigate the paramedics came to take him away the only suspects the cops suspected was the guys son and his wife the took fingerprints and hair samples to see who took this poor man's life all the fingers were pointing to the son so they hauled him off to jail he got electric chair or life imprisonment without bail momma cried all night and slowly died during the day just knowing her husband was gone and her son was about to slip away the son was so lonely he needed momma to hold him in that dark cold cell to hush him to sleep with a lullabye and to tell him everything would be well so momma went to visit her son and they talked about all the good times but as momma was about to leave her son said to her with streaming eyes momma i didn't kill him momma you know i wouldn't lie momma, momma, oh please momma i'm too young to die they bid farewell with a heavenly embrace the last time they'd ever see eah other's face the night before the sons electric chair he got down on knees and prayed i know this is a sin Lord but i just need You to keep my momma safe the lights went out in the jail the guards ordered everyone to bed but the son took one last breathe and shot himself in the head after the paramedics took him away they found an unread note under his bed they only thought it right to give it to his momma unread when they gave it to her she gave them a faint smile and just before reading it she stood there with wet eyes for awhile momma i didn't kill him momma you know i wouldn't lie but momma times are changing and i had to say goodbye the Lord's gonna keep you safe and me and dad will be watching over you momma please remember me forever momma, remember someone loves you
Reason for writing:
This is a true story and I found it very sad. I am new at this whole poetry deal so I'm sorry it's not all that good. Thank you for reading it.Birth sign: Not entered
