Midnight Tiptoes

by Distant-Dreamer - Not entered

Midnight trances in the dark
Tiptoeing past the creaking fence
Entering the wondrous place
Population dense
The moon as my only light
And the wolfs I only hear
The wet grass tingles my toes
I am almost here
I see it up ahead
It looks so beautiful and fine
All this divinity and heavenness
Is truly mine
Just a little further now
Don’t wake up anyone
Be as quiet as that mouse
This adventure shall be fun
The river sounds so peaceful
Flowing on forever
The heart on the tree still says
J+M=love forever
This place looks so reserved
So preserved no ones touched it here
Oh what wondrous dreams this place holds
Heaven lies near
A noise I hear distant in the background
Maybe I shall go
Run, run as fast as I can
No, I have to tiptoe
Midnight trances in the dark
Tiptoe back past the fence
Back into my bed now
I shall get some rest
