SO SHALL I by Richard Maxfield 3-27-99 As the spring rain softly falls on the fields and trees so shall love water me the grass turns green with tender new growth so shall my sole as trees become strong and tall so shall my emotions the birds sing and play building their nest so shall I the warmth of the sun nourishes the earth I shall nourish too as gentle winds blow in change I shall change also as new things fresh with birth I shall be fresh too as flowers become in full bloom so shall my love as all is refreshed in newness of life so shall I
