Families

by T.Ellis - Not entered

Families are everywhere
All around us they appear
Out of nowhere here they come
Out of the blue they disappear
Gone is the father
Gone is the mother
All that is left is me and you
A family together
A family apart
Two things that can hurt the heart
Gone is the father
Gone is the mother
All that is left is me and you
That is not how it is for
 a family to be true.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this thinking of the way my family fell apart. I submitted it because I would like other people to read my work and give me some feedback on it. I would like to know if I have a talent and if I do I would like to pursue it. I'm 18 and would like to find a cranny that I can sit in for the rest of my life. Without knowing whether or not my work is actually any good will not find me that cranny I'm looking for.
