Longing

Longing

She remembers how,
years ago,
she could lose herself in his words

All alone in her room,
door closed
enjoying, discovering

How she felt
in the crowd
losing herself in his words

Masses on a field
sun on her face
enjoying, discovering

After him there were others,
but the fever was never this high

This summer she'll feel it again
the power of his words
the feeling of first love
