Final Argument

by Fuqua, Taurus - Not entered

What problems we face
To live or Die
Continue into Obscurity
Or roll the dice
Tempt fate to give a wonderful death
Leave impressions upon minds in your passing
Or to let time take itÃÔ toll

For me there is but one option
There is one choice
To go as a dying sun
Collapse inward and draw infinities to me
Like the deep darkness, which I am
The deep darkness alone would I become
To implode or explode
A dying sun may go two ways
Let the anger explode outward
A reaction like no other
Destroying all that is around me
The circling vultures or the orbiting ÅÇriendsÇî
It would not matter which
The death throes of dying star lash at all alike
No preference or restraint for
That is the nature of a dying star

So chose like I have
Decide now what you want
Twiddle your thumbs and let passion pass you by
Wait too long and have your choice snatched away
Like babes in the night
Sleep on it too long, lose it forever
So I ask you what shall it be
The chance of glory
Hope that out there one person is watching intently
Peering through to the heavens
Watching your heavenly death in awe
Or slowly fade
Die out as one of infinite faceless stars

Glory to the one who goes first
I know your hearts choice
Your souls choice
So let us race
Oblivion after Glory
A moment to impress upon the universe
That is what I strive for
A blaze of Angelic fire to wipe all away
Or the unveiling of the darkness which is truly me
WouldnÃÕ you want to see?

A star
A sun
My death and my life
One will be timeless
Heaven or Hell
My death will lead me there
Death throes of a dying fire
Here are the embers, the last words from glorious death
For my life was lost
In death I find meaning for my suffering
Let Me chose
And so as a Star, a Sun, a lost Constellation I go
Problems no more
Immortality mine
