Thank You Lord for all these words You give me to write
I pray they touch a soul in need when in Your will it's right
I know not what they mean at times but I write them just the same
I pray they touch a hurting heart and help to ease some pain
This world is full sorrow that we see each and every day
So many people hurting and don't know how to find a way
To ease their pain and suffering or make it through the day
I pray these words will bring some peace in something that I say
He is the King of Glory, He is the Prince of Peace
He can ease your pain and suffering and bring such sweet release
Open up your heart my friend and hear His words today
The path that you've been traveling, is not the only way
If your lost within yourself and don't know which way to go
Come to Him with an open heart and His peace you'll surely know
Forget your past and start today to change the way you feel
Open up your heart my friend, you only have to kneel
