Why must I go though this pain?
Just because I lied doesn't mean I will again.
Why must I go through tough times?
God is the only one who can forgive my crimes.
Seeing red is how you are.
You want me close, yet you are so far.
Seeing me fall must hurt inside,
But you will still play the parent when I confide.
Love is a treasure when seen through a clear lens.
Still, it's hard to say let's be friends.
Love is the one thing I fear.
Why is it so hard when only you are near?
