Illusions

by Destiny - Not entered

Feeling your shattered illusions of love
Caught in a web of your lies
Knowing I just wasn't enough
To feed your need for alibies.

Sorting through your disalusions
Pulling me in your tide
Comming to no conclusions
You toss my emptied soul aside.

Drinking from the sweetness
I'd pour from my veins
Watching your enjoyment
Of my heart youve disarranged.

Watching you beneath me
Thinking I was the fire in your eyes
Burnt by the flame of existing
As just one star in your sky.

Wading through the puddles of your unsubsided past
Not knowing your desire
Thinking your burning lust would last
But proving my broken heart was a liar.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem for all of those girls who fooled themselves into believing that they were the only star in any guys sky
