Armour

by Ray Rupp; Taurus - Not entered

Why'd you have to do that?
I finally felt safe.
My ebon hatred shielded me,
But you had to shatter it.

Now naked, alone, vulnerable,
I can't go back to my cold winter world,
The warmth is too sweet,
Too wonderful,
But I can't hide from anyone here,

I feel so helpless, just lying here,
I want my armour back.

Desperate for sanctuary,
I go back to my hateful protection,
but it's too cold, too lonely,
and even there you seek me out.

Seeing my indecision,
you pose the question for my flustered mind,
Love or lonliness, my friend;
                      Choose your pain.

Reason for writing:

This one's wierd. I was just getting to know people here(I just moved), and Weed(from For Better or Worse) Said that, and it hit me as rather profound, and what I was feeling.
