Lookin' For a Broken Heart

by Damaris Donovan - Not entered

Funny how a little look
Just the slightest of smiles
Can speak what
Thick volumes of printed page
Can't explain.

I could get lost in the depths of your eyes...
I'm afraid I might drown
But then death would be merely bliss...
I am pure of your touch
But the kiss in your gaze
Is enough to take my breath away.

Who would have guessed
That I, the queen of common sense,
Cold, dry reason and fact
Would be writing such
Beautiful nonsense?
The Lord is full of surprises!

Reason for writing:

The most incredible guy in the world...such a gift from the Lord Jesus!
