Fathom

by David M Reyes (Leo) - Not entered

I'm sleeping with my eyes open wide
Sometimes it's hard to imagine
It's even harder to fathom
I'm paralyzed and dreaming I'm a satellite
Somewhere out there in constilations
Every word gets lost in conversation
I'm dependent on the heat providing
When your skin moves across mine
When our bodies are colliding

Slowly waking up, sunrises into empty skies
Slowly shutting down, Sunsets into emptiness
This is my last chance to pull you in again
This is my last descent into darkness

I'm working with my hands overtime
Out of nothing came inspiration
Out of inspiration comes nothing
I'm dependent on that beacon of light
A source for inspiration in a well ran dry
When I couldnt tap into your mind

Slowly waking up, Sunrise washed away the stars
System shutting down, Sunset washing away the sun
This is evidence you are not coming back again
This is the bitter process of ending

Reason for writing:

    I was bored.
