You asked me from across the room, Taken by surprise, flushed, I mumbled “be back soon”, Once alone with my thoughts, I hear a silent scream…. Was it my heart rejoicing, was it my mind rebelling…. Was I falling for you?…..Was I being the “fool”…. Such is this question, so simple yet so disarming… You ask, “are you falling for me”, in that quiet voice, so alarming… I look away , afraid that you shall see, Not fear nor tears, no monumental quandry instead, its ecstacy… Will you notice it? Will you find your answer in my eyes?… Falling for you? You asked me once, and then again…. Three short words that question my very core, Shall I attempt to explore my heart, shall I say more? I think I know deep down inside…. The answer to such question, I cannot hide…. Falling for you? You ask and look me straight, and stare in my eyes…. Now I cannot look away, I am bound by such gaze that holds no lies… Am I falling for you?……I open my heart and welcome the warmth… Surely, I can put my soul and life in hands that bring no harm… Falling for you?….I am for certain…I have fallen for your charm…
