Palisade of Mystery & Ruin

by Chris Cox - Aquarius - Not entered

  palisade of mystery & ruin

     - - fade in - -

      - - distortion - -

You’ll learn how it all is.

  - - transmission one - -

I have become myself undone,
Running from one light to another.
And I am beginning to see,
Decisions are not made, they are a given response.
If I choose to fail, my steps not taken,
I have only chosen to take the given response.

  - - end transmission - -

   - - fade out - -

  - static -

Why should i begin where you left off?

    - - fade in - -

  - transmission two -

I felt nothing, there was only action,
No sound, no thought,
The clock strikes twelve, midnight,
There is no pain, only remorse,
I felt nothing, there was only action.

     - - end transmission - -

        - - fade out - -

            - static-

I’ve not the weight to carry on in your place.

     - - fade in - -

   - transmission three -

I walk the empty streets alone,
There people have ears but cannot listen,
Have hearts, but cannot feel,
These are the streets beyond chance,
Beyond fair, open hands, charity bleeding,
Man, I say, is a useless passion.

     - - end transmission - -

        - - fade out - -
