Listen to your heart… Don’t listen to me, don’t listen to others… Don’t listen to strangers who know not… But listen to your heart…. Listen to its whispers…. Listen to its drummed up shivers… Listen to it when it knocks, care that it whimpers…. Put your hand close to where it beats… Understand why it is, during moments it seeks… To be heard, to be noticed, such sorrow it leaks… Stop in your tracks, suspend the rush…. Take slow paces and notice the heart in hush… Hear the tiny voice almost inaudible, almost crushed… Heed, your heart’s beckoning cues… Follow its simpering tune… Surrender to its dreams, dwell in its muse… Listen only to your heart… Listen to its tender love song… Imploring your soul to embrace love, you shall never go wrong… Danielle McHenry

For those of us who have simply forgotten to pay attention to what our hearts want...and simply listened to the dictates of our minds. Take a break from the rapid vicious dash we call daily life...and simply enjoy living and loving...
