My Heart knows a song, such a beautiful tune. Last time I heard it, was way back in June. Sometimes since back then I've heard the odd note, though pain, not passion, was winning the vote. Then early one morning, in the stillness of dawn; before even birds sing, Heart's song was reborn. As sweet as the last tune, but stronger and loud, it came gushing in silence, and made me feel proud. My Heart knows a secret, and feels a great cheer; and says Joy and Passion, are now coming near. My Heart knows it's over, though it's been long and fraught. My Heart knows it's found, what it always has sought. My Heart knows another, that holds that song too, My Heart knows it's Lover, it beats strong in You.
Reason for writing:
When I got up this morning, my heart felt different. My hands told me why, (when they wrote this poem of course!), but I don't understand it at all.
