The Long Wait

by Myra - Not entered

An angel kneels before a rugged cross,
A brilliant light unravels and grows around the creature,
It rises and take him by the hand,
Into God's arms it is lead,
Here on earth we grieve,
I know that someday I'll meet with him again,
Good friends are taken from us harshly,
And even though it may seem an eternity before you may
See them again,
I know that my angel will be waiting to take me home and
Rejoice with those waiting on the other side of Heaven's Gate
