You hide from your feelings, with a face I can not read. Am I to understand what it is that you expect me to see? Walking along a darkened path, I look everywhere for help. Nobody talked to me, nobody listened as I fell. In the dark is where I am, you left me here as time passed by. In the dark is where I've been, you are the one that can tell me why. I continue to stumble on as I try to make my way back to you. Nothing seems to work because of all the wrong things that I do. Will I remain here all alone, never realizing what it is that you need? Always expecting too much, always falling down on my knees? In the dark is where I am, you left me here as time passed by. In the dark is where I've been, you are the one that can tell me why. Your thoughts are in disguise, which makes it hard to know what it is you want from me, whether you want me to stay or go.
