Chains That Bind

by Jenny, Libra - Not entered

I can see into your mind
When you’re not looking
The pain in your eyes is kinda hard to hide
My self centered universe has been knocked out of orbit
You smile that slightly evil smile
Trying to be mysterious
I see right through
Do I seem that stupid to you?
You’re half the man you think you are
And cruelty won’t get you far
You try and try to make me snap
Thinking I can only take so much of your crap
Why can’t I just leave, just turn away
I think I might, I think I may
Give me a sign, something to grasp
Or is all that's outside just a hideous mask?

*Feedback very much enjoyed!
