Pleasure and Pain

by Fuqua, - Taurus

Night pleasure
Mornings pain
The drink never did it
Such power it never posessed
And the poison never touched my lips
But ode to horrid mistakes this will be
for nothing had she forseen
nothing i had known could be
yet here we are, together yet apart
something on our minds yet had not crossed our lips
alound it would have broken us
our tounges remained still to save our minds
the life we have lived did not prepare us for this
What were we supposd to do?
but keep a tounge in cheek
hope for the Best and Withstand the Test thrown at Us
Thrown by us
a nights folly
moments of pleasure into worry
our folly that night
Mine or Hers
It was Ours, Together

Reason for writing:

    why do you think?
