Now I Dream of You In this world I was alone With no one by my side, I was not sure what I was searching for. Then one day you stood before me, Upon your face I saw your smile, And I knew that I would have to search no more. Now I dream of you. Oh how I love you, And every moment I am awake you are all I see. With every word I say, and in every hope I have, I know I was made for you and you for me. Now I walk around you smiling, And I rest by your side And my eyes behold the splendor that I see. I still detect the starlight As dew from heaven kissed the rose, And I hunger for the love you spoke to me. Let me dream of you, and how I love you When the curtains of night are pinned back by the stars. In every thought I have, and in every prayer I pray I know my heart will always be where you are. We have shared each other's gladness And we have wept each other's tears And we vowed our love would always be strong. Your kindness is a gift to me Fresh as the fountain underground Because of you, I know that I belong. So now I dream of you, and the love I have for you. No, this dream will never have an end. And with all that I will be, and in all you have become Know that I love you, you are my friend.
