MEMORIES

MEMORIES

EVERY HURTFUL WORD YOU SAY
EVERY ANGRY FACE YOU DIRECT AT ME
THEY DON'T JUST LAST FOR A MOMENT
THEY BRING BACK PAINFUL MEMORIES.

BACK TO THE TIME I WAS JUST A CHILD
BACK TO THOSE DAYS WHERE THERE WAS NO ESCAPE
FROM WORDS AND ABUSES, WHICH LED TO DESPAIR

DON'T YOU SEE THE CHILD STANDING BEFORE YOU --
CLOTHED IN A WOMAN'S BODY
WINCING, AND THINKING YOU DON'T REALLY CARE.
