Alin

by Horacio Guilbert (Libra) - Not entered

The days were just going by
Until the day you arrived
Hoping that you‘re heading down the path of my
Like if it was something that I‘ve contrived

We might have a few things to fix
But that is something that should be looked at by me
‘Cause when you left my world became a mix
Even though distance is our greatest enemy

Your touch, your smile, the way you looked into my eyes
Are some facts of love at first sight
Don‘t think just let it be and you‘ll find the answers to all your whys
‘Cause all it took was just a look for me to see the light

And now that you‘re so far away
Nothing seems to be the same
I‘ll wait for the day for me to say
How glad I am that you came

Reason for writing:

I wanted to post this poem because I think alot of people can relate to it and it could help them express their feelings. 'Cause after all words are the hardest to find.
