You eat away at me With your dull teeth You chew so slowly...you love To drag the agony out, don't you? You can't be quick...oh no...you must Leave me hanging, slowly fading away To dry skin and dusty bones...you love To snuggle in where it's warm In my heart and my blood, and you love To take my warmth away from me Along with my life, my will, my everything Cause you gotta have everything, don't you? Can't leave anything behind for me You have to take it all Not even God will help me now, as if he ever did Because you defy all, and you take all And now I must sit and feel you eat my life away Because there is no cure for cancer. Reason for writing:
Well, I wrote this a long time ago after reading a story about a girl who had cancer. And now, I recently found out my grandma has it as well, so this poem has a lot more meaning to me now.Birth sign: Libra
