Fading away

by Skywalker - Not entered

In my disoriented fragmented mind,
illusions materialise.
Overwrought emotions
oppress my jaded mind.

By the silver twilight,
from heaven on high
meditative silence prevails.
Night is lonesome,
without a sigh.

Playing my part,
living a lie.
Wretched is my soul,
tainted is my mind.

Heavenward my veiled eyes see,
burnt out,
Soulful,
Melancholy.
Eternal solitude I seek in thee,
impending darkness overwhelming me.

Make the tempest fade away,
let the raging come undone.
Once potent passion now amiss,
Since when has it begun?
