Forever Friends
I've finally found a friend, I'd always trust and love,
Your arms were always open for a classic friendship hug.
We've been together, for oh it seems so long,
I'd never dream of the day that you would be gone.
Just thinking of not seeing your happy, glowing face,
Makes our whole friendship seem like a waste.
I know you'll always be there, through the thickness and the thin,
Even though your gone, I'll still feel the friendship within.
You know I'll always miss you, and want you to always be there,
I never want yo to forget the friendship that we bare.
The days are getting closer, graduation is coming up,
I'm starting to realize that our time is almost up.
You've been my best friend, the person I could always trust,
That is why I'm going to miss you, oh so much.
Please remember me, and always keep in touch,
You know I'll always love and care for you so much.
I know your not going far,
But it's still going to be hard.
I'm going to miss you, and cherish the years we spend together.
I just want you to know, our friendship is forever!!

I wrote this poem because my best friend, John, is going to another high schol and I am going to miss him!
