Return

by AM Fleury/libra - Not entered

Looking outside my window one day
I saw the sun shining on the tree leaves
The color was such an incredible neon-green
My body ached
My skin wanted so much to leave me
And crawl through the earth
To roll in the grass
To become bloody and dirty and smell of honeysuckle
And wintergreen and cedar wood
With no thought involved
Only the primal
The wonderful
Sweet naked feel of
An animal.

Reason for writing:

Hmmm...just like the poem says, I was looking outside the window, and for a second I felt like I was a part of nature.
