Two wrongs, can make a right, when multiplied with Love. From negative, to positive, with help from God above. 'Tis nature's law, not man's design, and can happen every time; and proves I guess, as we all know, life's not a nursery rhyme. But what is wrong, and what is right, and how are we to know ? The answer's always there for us, our feelings tell us so. And even when the math don't work, there's one who understands. It's God you see, and in the end, all things are in His hands.
Reason for writing:
I was just thinking about events that happen, and our interpretation of them. I've done a lot of wrong things in my life. Something I did last year, about this time, or a month or so before, which was a very callous and cold treatment of someone on the internet, came to mind early this morning. While not malicious in itself, it was a typically narcissistic action in respect of something someone had sent me. I guess it was just my way at that time, and I didn't know any better, but I do now.
I was privileged to receive a good education, and was especially interested in maths and science. At one time, I had knowledge and understanding of many complicated mathematical theorems and methods, and I loved the pureness and simplicity of them. On reflection, I felt a true happiness when I achieved an understanding of something. The more knowledge and understanding we have, the closer we are to God. Even the most complex thing is simple if you understand it, as Einstein demonstrated with his famous equation, E=mc*2, although that wasn't quite as simple as he thought. It's only the things that we don't understand, that are complicated, because we can't see them right. Our perspectives are usually wrong. In any event, Einstein didn't think his way to that equation, he just felt his way, and I'm sure he had divine inspiration, as a consequence of it has been to guarantee unprecedented peace in the world at large, apart from specific and long running conflicts like Kosovo. The nuclear weapons developed as a result of his insights have done that.
Twenty or more years of heavy drinking and negative thoughts, have wiped all the mathematical knowledge I had out of my immediate memory, although it's probably buried somewhere. I could just about remember, that if you multiply one negative number by another, you get a positive one. So in a sense, two wrongs can make a right. And even if what looks negative is in fact positive, God can override the laws of nature, so that a positiv
