I fell in Love with my Clock. I just love it's dainty tick-tock. It's always got time for me, never ever lies to me, and's as solid as a rock.
Reason for writing:
I was just thinking about how important it is to be consistent, in our interactions with other people. If we want people to think well of us, we need to be the same, most of the time at least. Although we are to a degree mechanical creatures in much of what we do, we're not very consistent. I've been trying to develop some consistency in my life through habit and repetition, i.e. practise, practise, practise, and I couldn't do it without my clock, which I love very much. Of course, it doesn't even demand love back, but I do love it all the same.
