As Time Passes

by Alan Roy - Taurus

Shadows crystallize to dust,
Fragrance dissipates to must,
A heart thats fit to bust,
A soul that needs to trust,
A world that seems unjust,
Shadows crystallize to dust,
Music of the mind glowing,
To point the way to strangers knowing,
To hope to win but with remorse,
Someone must lose, it's sad, of course,
To want good luck for those you love,
To wonder if there's a God above,
What will happen when the time has gone?
Maybe all our dreams go on and on?
Then in some sweet eternity,
We can embrace those we love,
Forever.
