Rambler

by Rod - Scorpio

I'm a Rambler,I'm a Gambler,
I'm a long way from home.
And if you don't like me,
then leave me alone.

I'll eat when I'm hungry,
I'll drink when I'm dry,
and if (the) Moonshyne don't kill me,
I'll live till I die!

Reason for writing:

When I was rambling yesterday, I recalled an old Irish ballad I used to like to sing, when I was drinking in the pub sometimes. I've done everything else in the song, apart from ramble, so that completes the set, apart from the fact that this is a song I don't sing anymore, as my life as moved on. It's dedicated to all those who do relate to it, and moonshyne, who I'm chatting to. It's not a bad way to live, for a while, but it's not a good way to spend a life.
