The dawn's mist rises forth The creatures awaken A restful night has run its course No more smoke and no more fires Grey ruins settle in the dirt Along with our desires Dragging forward we try to find a light Running off well-travelled paths Only to put up the same fight Looking back to glimpse tear-stained faces From times we don't recall And the blood from forbidden places The paradise we dreamed of is lost Promises were broken And ambitions tossed From the chains of the old land We can't break free To start a new band Like giants falling down to earth We've shattered our world As there's no hope for rebirth Even though we failed our test There's a hunger still unsatisfied For we shall never rest
Reason for writing:
the wings of the Angel are wide and strong. you shall always rise.Birth sign: Gemini
