FOR YOU AND YOURS I couldn't appreciate your sense of humor, Or tell you what a diminished life I have... I could only listen and wait For someone else to get the joke and laugh... Because I am not a joke For you to take so lightly I am not a stranger That you must treat politely For you were just confusing them, With all your mixed laughter and tears. Nobody could comprehend the Tension that resided here. I let it all go by, Until we were alone, And then I was enraged and yelling Like my words were not my own. "You don't even realize What you just created in their minds!" And after all my anger I grew weary And left you groveling behind. I do not think of you Or discuss eloquently of you and yours. If you ever are mentioned, I caution them to mention you no more... If this is reaching somebody, Anyone at all, Maybe you can comprehend (and understand) Why I didn't allow myself to fall. Christina The Revelation "Listen, and I will share my wealth of wisdom with you."
Reason for writing:
I always write poems that have large words and are long, and nobody responds to them, so I entered this as a test, an experiment to see if people respond better to poems without the expansive terminology. <<<simpletons>>>...did i say that? Just kidding, sit down and calm down. just kidding!Birth sign: Sagittarius
