I sit in the corner Unseen by other eyes Knowing that this world Holds no prize But I wait 'Til she walks by She is the reason That I still try And then I see her With a quick glance Walking over to her Leading her to dance And she smiles As I do I know it's sadness That those tears cry And I hold her Her body close to mine Telling her that Her heart will be fine And she smiles Looking upon my face Pulling her closer Moving in place the sweet beauty I see in her heart Is the one thing I cannot part And so we dance And I hold her tight Knowing that this Is what is right
Reason for writing:
I wrote this for a friend who had just ended a rough relationship and didn't want to jump into another one right away. I just wanted her to know that everything was going to be ok and that I still love her, even though I've never told her.Birth sign: Capricorn
