Do you know of the pain you cause me, Each time your icy blue-gray eyes, Lock into sight with mine? No, you don't. If only you knew how I writhe with agony, Whenever I see you smile. The pain I feel is love unreturned, Because I love you, And you don't love me. To you, I'm just a close friend, But I want more. Each day I see you, I want more... I cry with tears of love for you because, I want more... My love for you kills me. Your blindness to my love, ...kills me. And yet, I can't tell you...
Reason for writing:
We only had four people in my study hall calss all year and I totally fell in love with this guy. None of us ever studied, we just sat around and talked for 65 minutes and I fell totally butt crazy in love with him. He and I had so much in common...we even started to kinda...read eachothers minds toward the end of the year which made it all the more harder for me. Anyhoo, this poem is how I feel about him.
