As I Stumble

by Heather - Taurus

Searching for someway
To seek out my salvation
"What a wretched man I am"
Could be my motto

As I stumble and fall
And doubt what is true
And think of the thoughts
So unpleasing to you

Digging ever deeper
To reveal the bright light
Striving to rid myself
Of all my dark side

As I stumble and fall
And doubt what is true
And think of the thoughts
So unpleasing to you

Give me grace
Give me love
The wings to stand and fly
Give me peace
Give me joy
The strength to give up and die

To all my worldly desires
And flesh-sinful cares
All which empowers
And all that ensnares
