You hold me in your middle My face and body twice--- I stare in amazement at every inch of me, precise. I move my mouth while you move too. In one blink of my eyes, everything is new. The seasons are changing bare trees stand still. Ripples from the wind alone, or leaves blown from the hills. Everyday I see you and everyday I change. You show me in a subtle way how my life is being arranged. Sometimes scared and others happy as I lood into myself again. The trees behind now engulf me as life slowly leaves my face. Knowing me since childhood you've never shown me a lie. Sometimes I wonder why you can't and you'd rather make me cry. Today seems awkwardly different four faces instead of two. Maybe I won't wither alone and another body to analyze for you. We both see him day after day his face to you, unmasked. I see him now as younger still I hope my vision will last. So I thank you, my lake for holding me so close to your heart. You've always been so clear you've always drowned away my sorrow and swallowed all the fear. You've changed my life in many ways I've always known what's right, and when my daughter's old enough Bless her, too, with your shimmering light.Birth sign: Aquarius
