Bourbon on the Rocks, And some vegatable Samosas' Brought out to thaw. I smell the fair on the wind. Books are laid down. The air blossoms; like bread rising silent Behind glass screens. A cat crosses the road, Now dusty, somehow. And the kids from the cul-de-sac Different somehow, their clothes perhaps. The sun so low the pavement casts a shadow, And someone else's telephone chirps In the grass. The air smells like her.Birth sign: Leo
