apart from you though not entirely alone I drift across the day proper etiquette demands composure and self-will exist within this frame beneath the facade of platitudes and gestures I wilt within my soul apart from you I am able and strong yet somehow not the same in your presence my soul has wings my heart a friend apart from you I fade and shadow an image of myself waiting softly to be with you where I am whole
