Jesus bids us shine, with a pure clear light. Like a little candle, burning in the night. In this world of darkness, He will see us shine, you in your small corner, and I in mine.
Reason for writing:
There is out there somewhere, a person whose purity of spirit and deep faith has touched my soul, and allowed me to draw closer to God, and lose a lot of baggage in the process. A simple diet of parables and other recommended biblical literature, accompanied by many simple and good sense texts drawn from various sources, gave me the foundations of a renewed faith, and has allowed me to get through the trials and tribulations of coming to terms with my life and my problems, and I did have a few. I am now ready to move on and start to live my life as it was intended and as I wish to do. Sadly we no longer communicate. I've published this old Sunday School song I was taught when very young and have never forgotten, as a tribute to her, she knows who she is. To meet such a good person, as I did in cyberspace, who is prepared to reach out and help a total stranger, with no selfish interests, is a rare privilege which I am blessed to have received. She was one of a number of people who helped me, but for obvious reasons will always retain a place in my heart. Usually, it's one person who makes the difference, even in a group effort.Birth sign: Scorpio
