Charm of the Night

Last night's sunset was a beautiful sight
Dark velvet layers hiding the light
The stars eternally shining bright
As I welcome in the charm of the night

Reason for writing:

    Help!  I would really like to turn this stanza into 
a complete poem, only I'm stuck for ideas.  If you have any 
for me, please share them!
