With emotions of a human, I can't help how I feel. An emotion of love, It's you I can't stop thinking of. Each waking moment, Is spent with the kindest of thoughts. Each lonely night is spent with timeless tears. Every time I see you, there's temptation, But each time I'm near you, there's hesitation. Closed eyes, I'm helpless like a young child. My fantasies come true, But only in my imagination, When I'm with you. As I stand at a distance, Like the wind you pass me by, To myself I ask why. Kindness in your eyes, The deepest of thoughts run through my mind. Inside, there's a whispered feeling when we pass, For when I'm with you, I want to dance. I stare beyond the mirror in my room, Deeper than the reflections of my soul. With you, I'll take chances, For its you I want to dance with. I can't help how I feel, for I'm only human.
