The grass glistened as the dew was illuminated by the sun who rose, hesitantly at first, as if afraid of cruel judgement, and embarrassment, then seemingly quicker, as if encouraged by it's welcoming, and it rose, reflecting and supposedly growing, clear reflections, and sleepy heads awakening. And yet, in all it's glory, in it's rising proud and true, it could not stop the shadows could not cure the darkness, and so it quickly vanishes, leaving but a memory, to reflect somewhere else, and hope that one day maybe, the shadows will be vanquished
Reason for writing:
I wrote this really late at night, when i was trying to fall asleep and couldn't. The rhythm to this one is sort of the way i think, in fragments and all mixed up. I'm not really all that sure why i wrote about the sun though...
