The Goddess at the Pond

by Shane D. Moore - Sagittarius

Early one morning I was riding horse back in the meadow in front of my cottage. The air
was warm and the breeze was soft. My mare was unusually fiesty and rearing to go. I sat in
the saddle and let her carry me freely. I just wanted to relax with no particular place in
mind. We came to a grove in the meadow where the trees run parallel to a small plain.
There on the edge of the pond was a person. I could vaguely make out the shape. Who was
it ? What would someone be doing out this early in the morning ? I did not know, but
watched mesmerized.

She was completely nude. Her back was to me and her straight black hair came down to
the small of her back. She dipped her toes in the water to test the temperature. Her feet
were
small, yet slender. The soles of her feet were pink, soft, tender. She had long fingers and
small, slender hands that pulled her hair back. She then made her way into the water. She
began to gently rub the water onto her light brown skin and she glistened in the sunlight.
The sun was her spotlight and I was her hidden audience. She shined like a starlet.

Then she motioned for me to join her ! I was almost knocked to the ground ! Had she
known I was watching all along ? Was she putting on this sensuous show for me ?
I thought so. She smiled knowing that I could not resist. I slowly dismounted from my
horse, undressed and walked to the pond. As I walked toward her, I became absorbed into
her world. She was a sponge and I was water.

As I neared the pond, I saw her dark brown eyes. The kind of eyes that invite you in. She
wanted me in her world and I was only happy to enter in. Her lips were full and pouty. The
kind of lips that you taste, savor, enjoy. As I undressed, she turned back to the water. Her
back was glistening in the morning sun. I got to her and placed my hands on her shoulders.
I began to gently caress her neck and shoulders. She cooed in delight. She turned to me and
began to annoint my chest with water. Her hands were so soft and tender. She began to
rub my shoulders and massage all my tension away. I started to speak, but was quickly
hushed by her tender hand over my mouth. This moment was too perfect for words. Words
can get in the way of passion. I really did not know what the definition of soft was until her
lips met mine. I tasted her lips, I savored her lips, I enjoyed her lips ! She grasped my hair
at the back of my head and pulled me to her. I began to suckle her lower lip and she
roamed within my mouth in this monumental kiss. Our hearts were both racing and we lost
our breath. We broke the kiss, only to begin enjoying each other’s neck. I placed my lips
upon her neck and also paid special attention to her ear. She quickly began kissing my neck
and forehead in a lust driven episode. We were caught up in this torrid moment and would
not be denied. Not a care in the world, just each other.

As I began to hold her, she pulled away. I began to speak and was hushed again by her
tender hand. She smiled and walked out of the water. She was so beautiful ! A goddess!
I began to follow her and she held up her hand for me to stay. She blew me a kiss and
walked into the forest. As she walked she vanished into thin air.

I got out of the water, dressed and got back on my horse. I tried to find her, to no avail.
I rode back home disappointed. Who or what was she ? A phantom, my own imagination ?
What could it have been ? I was not sure.

I returned home and put my horse in her stall. I walked to my cottage and found rose
petals strewn on my side walk. On my front porch I found flowers freshly picked from the
meadow. I knew then that my pond experience would not be the last. I slept good that night
knowing I would see the goddess again.
