Lord, please forgive me, for my weakness from within
Forgive this selfish will of mine, that causes me to sin
The closer in my walk with You, the more I've just begun
To overcome these battles, brought on by the evil one
He is trying to take back, a good sinner that he's lost
On the day I was humbled, by the power of the cross
I search the scripture every day, Your will for me to see
As I travel in this journey, on the road to integrity
You promised to instruct me, in the way that I should go
And call upon Your name and show me things I do not know
Protect me with Your armor as I journey on each day
Give me strength to win the battles that I face along the way
