"Caroline Snow"

by Shane D. Moore - Sagittarius

There up in heaven,
Beside a celestial knoll,
Lives a beautiful maiden,
Named Caroline Snow.
A beautiful creation sent from above,
Her hair so pure and white,
Caroline Snow my only true love,
Dances in my dreams at night.
Her eyes were dark shades of blue,
Her love as deep as the seas,
Caroline Snow, I did pursue,
As she was the one for me.
Fate allowed me to love her,
And only her love did I know,
My eyes have wept many sad tears,
For my beautiful Caroline Snow.
Sometimes at night when the skies are clear,
I wish upon a star,
That my Caroline could me be near,
Instead of away so far,
I know one day I’ll see her again,
When God begins His trumpet blow,
I’ll leave this world that I am in,
And join my Caroline Snow...

Reason for writing:

The thought of a man refusing to love any other woman
besides his only true love is a good poetry topic.
