It's hard to describe a part of life, you've never lived before. It's just to me as if, I'm walking through a door. Not lost nor found, but quite unsure, of what I'm going through, but I know for sure, that every step, is one step nearer you. I'm footsure and not tentative, and sometimes step in twos. I'm walking fast, and hoping, that I'll soon wear out my shoes. My longing for, above all else, is one to call my mate, to hold her and to love her, for that I just can't wait.
Reason for writing:
I'm in the very early stages of a beautiful life enhancing experience, I think, and I just find it very hard to describe, as I've actually never been through this process before - not me, not properly. I've thrown away better poems than this in frustration at not being able to describe it well. But I really felt it was time I wrote something. So I did this just now.
