A Love Story

by Jennifer Dubois - Virgo

A Love Story

Sweetly sings the nightingale,
of a time when the days were frail.
A time went all the world went still,
he pleads to you to hear his tale.

His lullaby, so sweet and so pure,
whispers of a time when I found you.
Searching for a place to be,
and you, my love, were searching too.

We met one moonlit night,
in a time we cannot remember.
In a life long ago,
on a cold day in the month of December.

I still can feel your touch,
a touch I could never forget.
Just a whisper in the darkness
as our pleading hearts were met.

I saw you across the night,
and knew that you were put here for me.
To bring me the love
I thought I might never see.

Somewhere in a time long ago,
together we made a vow.
To love one another,
through time, till now.

And as I’ve found you again.
I pray that you may never leave.
For a life without you,
my heart cannot conceive.

You are the love
that I may never know.
But in my heart it is more pure
then the freshly fallen snow.

And so sweet nightingale
sing loud and sing free,
of an eternal love
that was only meant to be.

Others will search,
and to no avail they will find,
that a love like ours
is one of a kind.

So my sweet angel, I thank you,
for the light you add to my days.
May there never be darkness
with our hearts leading the way.

To me, this in a nutshell is what every little girl dreams of. A match made in heaven.
